Shibari Picnic Sunday July 6 at 16:00
While the peer rope events at Manilla are on summer break, we will organise outdoor Shibari Picnics much like in the past several years in Virnamäenpuisto, Turku. The picnic will be similar to our usual Peer Rope events: you can socialize freely, do some peer learning, tie and get tied and enjoy eating and drinking your own snacks. You may join the event on your own, with your friends, or with your partner. The event is free of charge and everyone interested in rope bondage is welcome.
Time: We will leave from Kahvila Myllärintalon Annela at 16:00 and walk together to the park. (Address of the cafe: Valkkimyllynkuja 2, 20540 Turku.) We will start the picnic at 16:30 with a meeting at the park.
Place: Virnamäenpuisto, Turku
What you might need: Own ropes, a blanket to sit on, your own snacks, water and stuff to protect yourself from the sun, such as sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses etc.
If the weather is poor or rainy we will reschedule the event. Information of the possible rescheduling will appear on this event post.
There are a couple of sturdy trees suitable for suspension at the park that you could use if you bring your own suspension gear.
