Information on Turku Peer Rope

General information

Turku Peer Rope is a community for people interested in shibari/kinbaku or rope bondage. We organize rope events with peer to peer learning roughly every two weeks in the spring and fall, and, occasionally, workshops -- for these, follow the announcements on the front page.

We also recommend you to join our Discord server, where e.g. any possible changes to the schedule are announced.

Information on Peer Rope events

Turku Peer Rope is an event to learn shibari or rope bondage from peer to peer. Peer Rope also has organizers who gladly get you started with your rope journey.

People of all skill levels are welcome.

The event will be held at the studio of Läntinen tanssin aluekeskus (Manilla, Itäinen rantakatu 64b) starting at 18.00. The entrance is at the rear left of the inner courtyard, at the top of a flight of stairs. Inside, you can find the studio between Tehdas Teatteri and Aurinkobaletti (AB Dance Company). No pre-registration.

Please do not use parfumes/ scents in our spaces.

Events are for adults only.

More information:

• Fee 5 € per event, or 20 € for a five-event pass. For people with low income, it is possible to get a free five-event pass.
• Please arrive between 6:00pm and 6:15pm -- the doors are closed at 6:15pm, and anyone arriving after this will not be allowed in.
• Rules, introductions, etc start at 6:15pm.
• The closing discussion starts at around 9:20pm.
