Shibari (and kinbaku) is a type of rope bondage. Rope bondage may include erotic elements, emphasize the creation of aesthetic ties, have a meditative focus, involve painplay, or be something completely different. Just what you want it to be! Turku peer rope organizes shibari events, where participants can learn from each other, and workshops, where experienced practicioners teach different techniques, patterns, and other essential skills.

Friday September 11 at 18:00: Peer Rope: Bamboos in shibari
Today we will explore the use of bamboos (and other logs) in shibari: how to tie people to them, and what special considerations to keep in mind. Turku Peer Rope is an event to learn shibari/ rope bondage from peer to peer. Peer Rope also has organizers who gladly get you started with your rope journey. People of all skill levels are welcome.
